Everyone loves Primark right? Okay maybe not everyone, but surely most people do? Yes – yes, we do! Now I recently went in and got a few comfy things, so thought I’d share them here with you in the hope that – I don’t know – you’ll feel inspired and go buy them, too? Now let’s get on with the post & see what I got!
I’ve been meaning to get some comfy slippers for agesssss because when I come home and my feet are aching I just need some comfy slippers to wander round in. Especially because my shoes hurt so bad (I should probably get some new ones tbh…). But comfy slippers were right at the top of my list. I had some grey ones from Primark that I took with me to uni but they’ve vanished – for now at least – so it was time to get some new ones. These were £4 and aren’t really as comfy as the other ones *cries* because of the memory foam – I know, I know, memory foam’s supposed to make them comfier bla bla but they just don’t feel that soft when I put them on. Having said that they do help my feet to stop aching and are definitely better than nothing! Maybe I’ll get used to them, I mean I’ve only put them on once for a couple of minutes to be fair. * Ok so I’ve actually been wearing them today and they’re pretty comfy but what I will say is that I got a bigger size because I thought 5 – 6 might have been small (I’m a size 6), so ended up getting 7 – 8 and they still feel kinda small? Which is weird because I know I’m not a size 7 – 8 and I’m definitely not a size 9 sooooo idk? *
I actually saw this lilac scarf in Primark on Saturday on my lunch break but didn’t have time to wait in the queue so went back and grabbed it. Ngl the main reason why I bought it was for the price. It was down from £8 to £3. What a bargain. And if it was full price I probably wouldn’t have bought it tbh…the reason being I already have a couple of wintry scarves that I alternate between. (Also I loooove bargains and discounts and all that jazz.) However, it’s lilac which I looove as it’s my favourite colour – kinda, my favourite colour’s purple. And I also love wearing scarves in the winter as they really do help keep you warm. It’s a decent sized scarf and actually does keep me warm so does what it’s supposed to!
A while ago I saw some men’s joggers and a hoodie in JD that were this really nice colour and I just thought they looked so good. So when I was having a look in Primark earlier and saw these joggers they just reminded me of the ones that I really liked in JD. They were also £5 so I had to get them. Joggers are just comfy you know. Like I could wear them to the gym or just lazying around at home or whenever. They had annoying sizes so I ended up getting a bigger size to be safe but they’re just too big. I do need to exchange them but knowing me and the effort it takes I’ll probably just keep these ones tbh. But maybe I should go and exchange them actually. I guess we’ll see what happens.
I also bought some other essentials and not so comfy stuff so here are those:
A black t shirt
A standard black crew neck long sleeved t shirt, to wear to work or just whenever. Just an essential.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
A mini bottle of micellar water. An essential for taking off my makeup and seeing as it was only 90p I just had to grab one, didn’t I?
2 packs of cotton pads
Again, another essential for taking off makeup. They’re only 50p a packet too so I had to grab 2. It cost me £3 to get 2 packs the other day from Superdrug and at Primark I can get them and save £2. Primark’s probably the best place to get these tbh, and at such a good price too.
Eyelashes in Paris
Not really essentials but I had a look at these on Saturday too so thought I’d pick them up. I’ve heard such good things about these lashes and Paris seemed to be the best ones from what I could see. So I got them!
And I think that concludes my Primark haul. It started off comfy and made it’s way down to essentials and then eyelashes which some may say aren’t comfy at all! But yeah, I love shopping at Primark and think I need to go and have a proper look one day to grab some new clothes and stuff, especially dresses.
Thank you for reading. Have you shopped at Primark recently? What did you buy?
Until next time,
