So I recently visited the Sheikh Zayed Mosque aka the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi for the first time. The Masjid was just stunning Ma Shaa Allah. From the architecture, to the design, the interior – the whole look was just stunning. As you can expect, I ended up taking a looooot of pictures (some may even say enough to start a whole Instagram page for the mosque!) so I’ll be sharing those pictures here. Only some, of course, as if I shared them all we’d be here all day.
See what I mean, it just looks so clean! Honestly it’s just beautiful Ma Shaa Allah. We all enjoyed checking out the masjid and I remember it was absolutely boiling that day, but I loved it. I mean, I finally got some real, scorching sun & I loved every moment.
One thing I’d say though is that yes it’s absolutely stunning Ma Shaa Allah, but I feel like sometimes we forget it’s still a masjid. Like, we muslims will go, check out at the views, take pictures and then we’re done. We don’t realise that it’s a mosque. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me that thinks that, maybe I’m wrong. But I guess what I’m saying is make sure you do still do your duas and remember Allah, like you’d do in any other masjid.
So yeah, thank you for reading/checking out these pictures! Have you been to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque before?
Until next time,
