The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world. Well, you’ve read the title, so you already know that. In fact, you may have known prior to reading the title. But now it’s been confirmed, you’re definitely sure.
Random intro done, let’s get on with the post.
On our last day in Dubai, we headed inside the Burj Khalifa and checked out the view from the 124th and 125th floors. This’ll be more of a photo post, as I’ll be sharing what we saw. Enjoy!
There are sooo many tall buildings in Dubai, which definitely add to the view. In the daytime, the parts that are furthest away remind me of the desert and sand – in fact, I’m pretty sure if you look far enough, you probably can see the desert!
The way the city lights up is just incredible. Dubai truly is one of a kind.
We booked tickets online in advance and it saved us quite a bit. I think it costs over double if you buy your tickets at the door, so be sure to book in advance if you want to save those pounds – sorry, dirhams. Our tickets were for 4:30pm, however we could stay up there and admire the view for as long as we liked.
And that’s the view from the 124th and 125th floors inside the Burj Khalifa. It’s insane to think how high up this actually is! I watched the ‘dancing fountains’ show from up there and it looked tiny, and I then watched it from ground level and it was huge, which just goes to show how high up we were.
Now, I know this post is quite short but, as I said, the main focus is on the photos and the view from the Burj, rather than text and words and all that jazz.
Thank you for reading (watching?). Be sure to let me know what you thought of the view in the comments below!
Until next time,
