10 minutes on the clock – GO.
I’ve been away for the last few weeks with my family. We went to Pakistan first for around 3 weeks to go and see our family back home and then went to Dubai for around 5 days.
Alhamdulillah we had a great time. The weather was absolutely beautiful, except when it was raining in Pakistan for almost the whole of the first week. But in Dubai – maaaan. It was absolutely boiling and I loved it. It was definitely a reality check when I got back to Manchester Airport to see it was all grey. But I’m not going to lie, I’m definitely happy to be back. I mean, I love Pakistan and Dubai, but this is home, right? Cold weather an’ all.
We got back on Monday afternoon and I’m now realising that there’s just so much to do. Uni starts again next week and I need to prepare for that. I also decided that it’s time to completely change up my style, so I need to have a major wardrobe clear out. I need to get rid of loads of old pieces and get a whole new wardrobe. I also need to keep up with posting on here, Twitter and Instagram, so am planning on writing up as much content as possible and getting that posted asap.
But yeah, back to the holiday. It was my first ever Eid in Pakistan and I really enjoyed it. I’m not really going to share much about Pakistan as the memories we made with family are personal to me and I kinda want to keep them like that. But I loved seeing everyone back home and spending time with my cousins, alhamdulillah. I’m definitely going to miss them. We got to meet after around 3 years, so it felt really nice to be able to spend time with them and catch up.
Okay, 10 minutes are up. It’s actually 1:49 in the morning and I think because I’m so tired I can’t type or even think as quickly as usual, which is why I didn’t manage to type up that much. So, it’s only fair I give myself some extra time, right? 5 more minutes on the clock – GO.
As I was saying, I loved Pakistan and seeing everyone after so long and I loved Dubai, too. We weren’t in Dubai for long so didn’t get to do as much as we wanted, but still got a fair amount done. You’ll be seeing a load of posts on Dubai soon and even more on my Instagram. I’d really love to go again one day, when I’m able to. There’s just so much on offer and I want to do everything – maybe not everything, but definitely most things.
Now I’m back home, I need to get back into eating properly, as we ate so many different types of foods, especially fried foods, that didn’t sit right with me. Long story short; they gave me acid reflux and my insides need a little more love. But my skin went sooo good in Pakistan alhamdulillah, but when we got to Dubai it got worse and now we’re back home, something tells me it’s most likely going to get even worse *cries*. Time’s up!
So that’s what I’ve been up to for the last month, and you’ll be seeing more about my holiday very soon, so keep an eye out for that!
Thank you for reading. What have you been up to recently?
