My Favourite 1WeekMary Posts Of 2016

As the clock struck 12 on New Year’s Day, 2017 slowly crept upon us and 2016 was over. Wow, what a year it was. 2016 was also my first year as a blogger, and I watched my blog grow into something more than just a website on the internet, as it became my baby; it became a product of the time, effort and hard work I put in to this little website on the internet as well as an insight into the various thoughts and passions of mine, and the lessons I learnt along the way. And you know what, hopefully it’ll continue to grow this year. Anyway, 2 months into 2017, it’s March 1st, what better time to reflect on my favourite posts from 2016? (Okay fine, I’ll admit I’m really late posting this…oops.) Without further ado, here they are:

Designing My Own KitKat – I’m so glad I found out about this on time and actually managed to go and design my own KitKat. It looked so good and tasted absolutely divine! This has been one of my most popular posts, too, and I can see why – who wouldn’t want to design their own chocolate bar?!

My Letter To My Younger Self – Writing this was definitely therapeutic for me in some ways, as it was one of the first times I’d ‘properly’ looked back and tried to face my younger years. The whole concept of writing a letter to your younger self reminds me of that saying – “Be the person you needed when you were younger”.

I Didn’t Give Up – This made me so happy to write and still makes me feel a sense of accomplishment. It’s proof that if you carry on putting in hard work and time and effort, you can get those results you’ve always wanted!

I Wanted To Quit Blogging – This is one of my favourites because it comes from the heart and it’s completely uncut; I just wrote everything that was in my head and let it all out.

A – Z of Childhood Memories – Any chance to relive my younger years and I’m there, so this post was so much fun to write and look back on all the things we used to do back when we were little kiddies.

My University in London Bucket List – This speaks for itself, really. I’m so excited to try and get as much done as possible whilst I’m still in London at uni, and even writing all these down was such fun as it got me all excited about the things I’m (hopefully) going to be doing!

8 Things I Left With The Old Me – Another post that’s straight from the heart (I like those, don’t I?) – this really gave me a chance to reflect on the person I’ve become and, essentially, the person I let go of. It’s always nice to see that you’re improving, isn’t it?

Being Vegetarian For A Week – One of my 1 Weekers, I genuinely enjoyed being vegetarian for a week and realising that vegetarians actually can eat pretty much anything except meat and it’s not just vegetables like I (stupidly) thought. Hopefully, I’ll be doing a week as a vegan soon, and I cannot wait!

My First Day At University – So basically, I went into panic overdrive on my first day of uni and managed to embarrass myself…as you do. I always find it fun to go back and read this post and laugh – it definitely wasn’t funny at the time, though!

Thank you for reading! I definitely enjoy writing all of my posts, but these were just some of my favourites of the past year.

Be sure to leave the link below of some posts you enjoyed reading in 2016!

  1. I love these monthly round ups. It’s cool to reflect on what you’ve done, what you were thinking, things you’ve tried, etc. I remember so clearly that “I wanted to quit blogging” post- so glad you didnt and that you’re still here posting up!!!
