We all get busy at times. Some people are constantly so busy and don’t have time to do many things, myself included. I’ve been so busy recently and I’ve not had time to blog, so I thought I’d create a list of ways for us all to find time when we’re just too busy. Whether that’s time to blog, to see our family/friends, or just some down time, here are 4 ways to find time when we’re just too busy:
Wake up earlier
If you’re waking up at 10am, wake up at 8. If you’re waking up at 8am,wake up at 6. Just adding a couple of extra hours to your day can work wonders – you have two whole hours (or maybe even more) to get some stuff done, and you might even get a minute to yourself later on. In fact, it doesn’t even have to be that much; even waking up half an hour earlier means you have extra time to do something you normally wouldn’t be able to.
You’ve planned your whole day out, but at the last minute you remembered there was something you NEEDED to do today. See what can be done tomorrow and make time to fit in the urgent task.

Utilise the time you do have
You want to get healthier but you don’t have time to go to the gym? Here’s what to do: when you’re sat in front of the telly watching Corrie, just do 100 star jumps. And in the break, run up and down the stairs or jog on the spot until the break’s over. Another example is to be doing something when you’re waiting in a queue, or when you’re travelling. You needed to send an email but don’t have internet? Draft it. Write down what you want to send and then once you do have access to internet, just copy and paste and send it off.
Team activities up
If you have multiple things you need to do, do them all together. For example, if you need to send a parcel off before 5 but told your friend you’d meet them at 4, take the parcel with you and go for a coffee or something later. Another example could be that if you have an interview at 2 but need to write a blog post for that day, write about your interview or interview tips you’ve learned over the years. It’s like the popular saying goes; you get two for the price of one.
And that’s all for now, I hope you enjoyed reading! It’d be a little hypocritical of me to write this post and then continue to moan about how I don’t have time for blogging, so the challenge I’m going to set for myself is to make time to blog, no matter how busy I am. How do you think I’ll do?
And just before I go, here’s a little question for you: what do you do to find time on your busiest days?
