If you follow me on Twitter/Snapchat, you’ll probably know that I recently went to my first ever blogging event. It was fashion brand Country Attire’s ten year anniversary and they held their event at Proper Tea Rooms in Manchester.
Now, I’m not going to lie, this was my first blogging event and I was extremely nervous, especially the night beforehand. However, my sister offered to come with me so we both went together, which definitely made me feel a lot calmer. The funniest part is, though, that when we were actually there, my nerves just disappeared – I guess the build up’s always the worst, isn’t it?
Anyway, as well as celebrating their ten year anniversary, Country Attire also launched their brand new A/W collection, which we were able to have a sneak peek of. Let me just say that they have some very impressive stuff. Here are some of the items in their newest range.
There were some gorgeous bags, in different styles, shapes and sizes.
Like, come on, how stunning are they?
They also had outdoor jackets and coats, which looked extremely comfy.
And, of course, they had boots, wellies and shoes.
Everyone was given envelopes that had mystery prizes inside, too. I won £5 off my next shop and my sister won a Barbour Bag worth £60.
We were also given complimentary tea, cakes and sandwiches etc. Neither me nor my sister drink any tea other than green tea, so we both went for the Jasmine Pearl Green Tea and I really liked it.
We both thought the food tasted great, especially the cakes. And the fact that they actually had heart shaped scones was just adorable.
Seriously though, how cute is that?!
The team at Country Attire were so great as well as the staff at Proper Tea. Thank you to both teams for being so welcoming and ensuring we all had a great time! I also got to meet some lovely bloggers who were really nice.
They were extremely generous and we were all given goody bags to take away with us, as well.
The goody bags consisted of:
- Hunter welly socks
- A wool scarf
- Lip balm
- And a gorgeous French book about the sailor trend throughout the ages.
